Many children are calm, comfortable, and confident in a dental practice which is designed especially for children. Sometimes, however, a child can feel debilitatingly anxious, especially if he/she is very young or has had a bad experience at the previous dentist. These children, along with children with developmental disabilities or other special needs, numerous specialized medical concerns, or those requiring significant dental work may require more support to feel comfortable. In these cases, PDC offers sedation in an operating room (OR Sedation) which is considered to be a "deep sleep" meaning it is more difficult to stimulate your child, allowing us to do longer, more invasive dental procedures.

OR sedation is a safe, effective technique. PDC provides OR Sedation in partnership with Tift Regional Medical Center.  TRMC is located at 901 East 18th Street in Tifton, GA. Their mission is to "serve the health needs of the patient as well as those of the communities we serve."
